The "official" tool is an elastrator, Wayne.
Make sure you get both nuts behind the band before you let go.... ;D

CD that explains why you always have dykes with you just in case one of the nuts isn't behind the band and you have to cut it off.  :whistle:

 Wane... I tape mine... use 3 M electrical tape... if it'll hold a 60lb striper it'll hold anything you encounter through the ice...

I saw something on here for sale on one of the sponsors they're kind of like heavy duty elastic rubber bands that hold a spinning reel on the Reel seat to add reinforcement I don't really want to use zip ties I know somebody on here sells them but I don't know exactly what they're called

Wayne I just seen a banding tool on the cabelas website eagle claw makes it...
