Golf Cart cover
« on: Jul 13, 2017, 11:39 AM »
Anyone think about using a golf cart cover for a portable? Don't cost much and most come with a zippered door.
God grant me strength to catch a fish
So large that even I
When telling of it afterwards
May never need to lie.

It would be similar to a bayrunner if you had the stationary seats and sled

I've found that with somethings in life, you just need to pony up and get the right tool for the right job.  I'd just search for Craigslist or wait for a good deal on a legit ice shanty, preferably an insulated one.  Finding the right sled, cutting holes, and building a frame seems like more trouble than it's worth.  Just my .02

Some people enjoy using their creativity and hands to design and build items on their own.... It isn't always about saving money.
