How much ice do you have?

I live in western n. y. and everything within 100 miles + of me has what I consider unsafe ice. I prefer 6+ inches. Who has 6 or more? Appreciate reply's.

I was fishing on 14 inches of ice on sunday. Most lakes around me are 12 inches or more.

Actually was able to drive out on the ice here in central NH this past weekend with 15" of ice.

Most lakes have atleast 16 inches by now..drove out on a lake on sunday that had 20 inches of clear hard ice

I can get as much ice as I want on comand all I got to do is push the button on the fridge as far as safe fishing ice goes must of been bad this tear cuz the gods are punishing us in my neck of the wood did manage to get out a few times this year

Nice my buddy is leaving to live in South Dakota the 14th of this month. Maybe I'll be seeing you next season. I rode my bike to South Dakota in July of 2011 stayed the entire month left before the rally (don't do well in crowds). Loved the state, loved the people. Best trip I ever did.

The small 200-400 acre ponds/lakes I found 6" to 12" in central NH. But I was just up at Newfound Lake this past weekend (4,100 acre lake ) coves have ice ..but most of the lake was OPEN WATER !!...we fished the northern tip of the lake and had 2 inches off shore with open water 300 yards out....Scary ! Did manage to land a nice Laker and an 18 in Rainbow before noon...in 12 inches of water ..lol

Measured 19" ice yesterday with about 5" of snow on top of that and no slush. We have been driving our trucks out since just after New Year's Day.

15-16" in Land O Lakes, WI (WI/MI boarder). 3-4" of snow cover, light to no slush. Conditions are perfect.

The driving season might end in about a week or two if the forecast holds true.
