Run unsalted tubes on lakers or does it matter?
Do you guys have a source for unsalted ones if so?

I don't think it matters. They don't play around with them like bass do. As long as they are white, you are in business.

I just made a how to  video on using tubes for bass fishing in open water, but that probably won't help you. haha

I think your buddy has bumped his head  :P Who gives them time to spit the tube? It sound like he needs better jigheads.

I put fish oil in with a lot of my plastics and the fish seem to like it.
May the fish be with you.

Cod liver oil is great, but in a pinch, the oil that comes in a can of tuna or sardines does the trick.
May the fish be with you.

Do you put a little piece of sponge inside to hold the scent?

Mine are salted and they either get paired with a slab of cut bait or stuffed. Try flukes too in place of tubes sometime!  ;)
