Man I wish we had a better report.  i wish we knew the thickness of the ice.  Oh well I might take the journey down there anyway and take a chance.  I suppose if it is holding the one guy on the ice it should be good to go for the morning, since we should be making ice tonight and all day 2maro. ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

I think that I'm going to have to pass for tomarrow. I'm a little bit heavier than a couple of sticks and stones, and lord knows that I don't like the plank thing.  ;D  The Ice should be a lot better by Sunday morning, if the ice gods so deem it.     I think we'll make the trip then.

Crazy,
If you go tomarrow give us a little better report if you can.
Thanks,
Dave

uhmm thats a good question.  I'm going to give Yogi a little longer to change his mind and if nothing from his end then I guess we will have to figure that out.  i would imagine we are going to have to meet at the lake since we are coming in from two different directions.

Yogi gave me the phone number for the baitshop down by quaker.  he told me to give it to you so you could wake them up early like you did at the wayland baitshop, he thought that was funny has hell.

Gair,
I am not very familiar with the lake but i will do my best...I went pat the gate and paid my 6 bucks i then drove straight to the clearing on the left lots of people parked there. We had to walk down a good sized hill at the bottom there was  a tree we went to the right maybe 100 yards and out maybe 200 yards where the depth goes 12 to 15 fow. there was good ice 10 feet away at a tip up my friend who weighs at least 100 pounds more than me had just run over to and landed a fish. When I went to investigate this fish plop through i went not too bad popped right out. Sorry if that doesnt help. Other spot was to the right of this area even more I just wsnt checking and someone told me after that this area was open a few days before.
.
