ANY ICE IN CNY SAFE?

  anything in a 50 mile radius of Oswego NY safe? Looking for perch mainly.

Don't know if it is within 50 miles of your place, but Canadarago Lake is safe!

  It's a bit farther than 50 miles but it's only a short drive from my mother inlaws home.. i pass that lake alot and see fisherman out there but i have no idea where to park. I see the lake has tons of camps. Any friendly parking area's around the lake?

 any info would be $$

      if you want to drive an extra hour go to mile arm bay on black lake, about 10 pick up trucks on m.a.b. today, about 15 inches of ice.

I would say so ! There was not a parking spot left yesterday ! The south end was fished heavily.

There is a state boat launch on RT 28. Large parking area and it's free. Just south of the boat launch you will see cars and trucks parked along the road on the side of the lake. There is a trail they use that passes by a camp. It's the last camp on the road heading south.

 went down today and the ice was in great shape 7 to 8 iinches of clear ice. didn't have any luck but spoke with a few folks who told me a few area's to try the next time.
