Looks like Littlepike and I are going to try for some some eyes and pike in the morning     gonna be a bit cooler than it was this time last week!

Brother and i are going to Simon Pond,don't know if thats the rite thing to do,but thats where we are going.If anyone is planing on going to Long Lake be-careful.A friend of my brother called him today and told him that her brother went through the ice on his snowmachine last night,nobody seen or herd him,too bad the kid was only 24yrs.old.   Prayers to the family

Heading out soon to get the quad on the truck and gas up the auger and be ready to leave early in the morn.  I've also got visions of lake trout on my line tomorrow in the lovely Adirdondacks on a "remote back country pond" somewhere out there.    

I think we might be headed to the same pond??? You meeting up with Robb?


hey Flagrunner, good Luck on Simon... there are some fish to be had in that thar pond... good luck! Becareful out there sounds like that lake got turned into swiss cheese last weekend!

The outing on Black Lake sounds like a blast fellas...maybe I will get up that way to fish with ya'll sometime!

Tipups drying by the wood stove, bait is being aerated....making plans to see who'll be attending at Chaumont Bay tomorrow morning/this weekend....the ice is good (in some spots) and the pike are hungry.....

Both wheelers are loaded up, the Vex's are charged, the venison stew is cooking on the stove and the bait is in the garage waiting to be swallowed by  BIG FAT ADIRONDACK LAKERS!!! Tomorrow is gonna be excellent, can't wait to meet up with everyone!! See you at 5am and at 6:30 for the rest coming from Platsburg . We'll post some pics of the expediton later .
