Ice on Mendon?

Anyone have a report for Mendon Ponds Park? i would love to get out there this weekend for some pike.

Friend of mine drove down today and said there was open water in front of the bay with a lot of geese in it.

I went buy there yesterday and there was open water in spots.  I could not even walk five feet out without the ice breaking.  I think once the shore freezes up you will be able to get out and fish.  Just make sure you stay away from the little cove that had all that open water.
