raddeester- well i dont drink very often and i dont drink on the ice very often either i think ive had 3 beers on the ice this year out of 25 trips

i ussually move around alot so i guess 6 hours of stop and go use :) I have never actually timed how long it lasts but i just know that i get by with a partially used tanks and a full tank in a full day of fishing (sun up to sun down)

WELL I SIT AND DRINK AND DONT MOVE AND TIMED THEM TO THE MINUTE WHILE I WAS DRINKING.. SO NOW YOU  KNOW HOW LONG THEY LAST WHEN YOUR MOVING AND WHEN YA RUN OUT AT THE OTHER END OF THE LAKE YOU WIL REMEM ;)2BER MY POST

MORAL OF STORY>>>> BRING 2 TANKS + A 30 PAK
The Best TIME of my life was when I could disappear for DAYS on end, trolling the gutter on an epic bender, PAUSING ONLY for meals and the amount of time it took me to take money from my wallet and place it on the BAR!!!!! <br />[iii]D   I AM ALSO A RECREATIONAL SPECIALIST, best and Fastest, Boats, Mini Bikes, Coldest Beer and Fast chugger...ha!

Worst piece of c**p i ever owned...If you have to tear it down three times in a six hour trip to keep blowing air into it to get it to stay running...you can have them..i'll stick with the original one that attaches to the bulk tank...Glad to hear you guy's have better luck with them...wish it was better , weights much less than the bulk tank...Tight lines
If youer still using the 20 pound tank go to gander i just bought a 5 pound tank for 20 bucks!!!!!
If i'm not fish'n then i'd rather be turkey hunt'n

I bought 2 of those Dyna glo heaters[ like the buddy] I love them, hate to be with out.
If you watch the spring sales at wally-world they mark them way down/  I got 1 for 25.00 and the other for 35 the following year.   Never had to mess with cleaning them out , but I did notice the colman fuel will last longer than the cheap stuff[10 or 20 min. per1lb bottle].

I sruck out on Mr Heaters in Albany area. Between the power outages and end-of-year sale there are all gone. That's what I get for not visiting this site frequently. :%$#!: :%$#!: I did manage to buy a Paulin 3500 heater/stove on sale for $30. Marked down from $50. Doesn't make sense to haul a cooker and heater onto there. Nothing like a hot meal on the ice. Will be trying it this weekend. The btu's are 9,000-15,000. More than I need for the shanty but you can always shut it off when it gets too hot. As far as "recyled" propane. I've never had a problem with it. Propane is propane. There are only a few places it is made. All the same stuff. Just mt 2 cents...........                                                                                                      Kim:tipup:
