We were fishing not far from you, closer to parking lot. We also got 2 bowfin and small pike.

WOZ -Crazy place to fish!! We drove two hours for the chance of a bowfin. We had a ball. We have never caught channel catfish never mind catching them thru the ice. We thought the first cat was cool (4lbs). The 10 lber that came after was one of the coolest catches I've seen ice fishing. Ditto with the Bowfin

I saw that tough break off you guys had. We had a couple of missed runners.

Yes,you never know what y'all catch at the bow. It is also called the oxslow........glad nobody had a bad day out there.

Today it was the oxslow,1 flag for me, 1 bass around 4 pounds. My brother law 1 flag 1 small perch. Don't see too many flags popping today!

Awesome trip to the oxbow. Never know what you can pull from there. What were you using for bait? A 9lb bowfin would have been a state record FYI

2 days ago was 6 inches. I suspect there will be enough ice for you to fish still - the edges were sketchy and will likely be tomorrow as well. Someone had left a plank there. Thank you to whoever that may have been...

i was there friday with my son by the middle where the boats leave the marina pond, He got cold after 2 hours and we packed up no flags. Went to Pontusac yesterday with some friends, Had 25 tips in the water only to catch 1 perch all day...

Just left the oxbow around 430 today. All the edges were still locked in. Had about 6 inches of black ice. When I got there, there was a lot of water on top but by the time I left wind pretty much evaporated all the water off the top

He did. I was about 40ft from him and got to video tape the whole thing. Pretty cool.
