I am looking at the cheapest way to get good quality contour maps. Mainly looking for where to find printed maps of specific lakes, but also somewhat interested in electronic contour maps for a garmin or something like that. Any help guys?
Right on. Thanks for all the info. Yeah there is not a lot mapped here in wyoming. Mainly looking for Alcova reservoir and Pathfinder reservoir. These are two popular lakes that I'm having a hard time finding good mapping. I'll look into some of these options and get back with you all.
If you have issues with Navionics mapping follow this link and let them know what they are missing. http://navionics.force.com/Mobile?cancel=http%3A%2F%2Fnavionics.force.com%2Fkb
Kirt? I tried this before, and even supplied links to your company. That was shortly after I first bought your app. Nothing has changedLet's try this one more time. Here is the front door to the entire Nebraska data set for Navionics to use -- hunting, boating, fishing, hiking, biking. http://data.outdoornebraska.gov/Here are the links to the specific data sets for lake contours, pool shore lines and locations. http://data.outdoornebraska.gov/datasets?q=lake+mapping&sort_by=name&sort_order=ascCan you pass this on to the programmers yourself? Thanks
Has anyone had success with Fishidy? Maybe not for contour maps, but at least to mark your spots with decent accuracy?
I personally use Aqua maps, it's a very cheap app and covers several lakes in my area that navionics does not. The app is per state, then you d/l maps for specific regions of the state.
If there are lakes in your area that are not on the Navionics app let me know I will pass this along just like above. And the basic app is free but the 10.00 gets you a whole lot more!
