Trying to Stay Positive

As I sit in my kitchen typing this, fireworks are going off all around me. Unfortunately, the Chicago Cubs are going to the World Series and by the looks of it, they have a good shot at winning the whole thing. As a White Sox fan, it hurts to see this happening so I am trying to look at a silver lining. One positive thing I have found is that if the Cubs win the World Series we are guaranteed to have a fantastic ice fishing season, with a foot of ice even reaching down to Mexico. My reasoning for this? Hell will be freezing over in early November this year.

Go Tribe!!!  Going to every home game in Cleveland.  One of the two historic droughts are coming to an end, I cannot wait!

I'm a long time Dodger fan (since Brooklyn) but now I guess I'm gonna have to cheer for the Cubs. On another note tho, THE BEARS STILL SUCK @) @) Have a great day all

After watching the game last night. It is a sure thing Joe Buck is a Dodgers fan. For that's all they talked about. Hope there is a different crew announcing the series. As a life long Cubs fan. It would have been nice. To hear of all the work that went into building this team. Go Cubs Go!!!

Please don't insult the Dodgers like that. I think Joe Buck is more of a yankees fan. They suit him much better. ;D ;D

I think Buck is actually a Cardinals fan. His dad announced for the Cardinals for awhile and Joe did too. Also, Joe even caught for the Cardinals minor league team.

I can't do it Joe. Everybody loved them even when they were terrible, so my disliking of them is deep. They always get the most coverage out of the two teams, even when the Sox were good. I am rooting for another 100 years...
