Do not mean to hijack this thread. IFF you know what country music star Alan Jackson would say about the tequila. "It's five o'clock somewhere" . ;D

Ordered up a new rad for the sled @ lunch today.
Not totally insane price either @ $350.
Now the fun part. Seems I was right in assuming you have to completely disassemble the sled to replace it.  :%$#!: :%$#!: :%$#!:

The shop says it's 16 hrs labour.
Glad I know haw to do things for myself.
Even the motor has to be removed to get the thing out.

Went to the lake @ lunch to check on the ice conditions for the weekend. All is good, but there is a bunch of flood water @ the main portage on the lake side that froze so there is a bunch of broken up ice that is 2"-3" thick.
But at my other access all is good.  ;D

Glad the ice is holding up for you have a safe trip to your cabin this weekend.  I'm trying to remember if you can drive to your site or have to use a boat during the months of open water.

Borrowed a buddies sled and got my windows out to the cabin and safely stowed until I can get them installed. The main access point is getting sloppy with melt and mud but my other access point is still mint. Went in that way and came out the regular way. The alternate route is much smoother and will probably good for a couple of weeks still. :)
The ice on the lake is still perfect and there is no melting on it as yet. The snow melted and packed with the 3 days of warm weather earlier in the week but that makes it easier to get around.

No issues getting from the ice road to the shore by the cabin this week.
Last week the snow was still thigh deep but this week maybe a few inches.

The smaller windows all stowed inside.

The big and heavy ones are outside.

Lost a good chunk of the snow up by the cabin with the warm up this past week.

Thank you for your reply to my question about getting to your cabin site during open water.  I guessing you still have 12 inches or more of ice going by the photo showing all the vehicles parked below your cabin. Glad you were able to get all the windows transported to the build site.

I'm guessing ice out is in late May or early June depending on how fast temperatures rise.  Thank you for keeping us updated on your build.
