Aberdeen area

Anyone on here familiar with fishing in the Aberdeen area, mainly to the west?  Visiting some friends that live west of town next week and they don't fish much.  Actually looking to see if there are any sloughs worth trying.  Tried Mina and Richmond in the past so looking for some different water. Thanks.

No a lot to choose from to the west. There is the big slough just on the east side of Roscoe along highway 12 and there is Anderson slough somewhere over by Loyalton. Haven't fished either but heard of some people catching perch on them earlier in the year. Good luck!

Spring Lake is about 10 miles west of Bowdle. Has walleye and perch. At the bottom of the hill just before the water reservoir.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.
