Tube Jig Question (Large Laker Size)
« on: Feb 07, 2016, 05:53 AM »
I set up a few of my jigging rods for some Laker fishing in Northern NY. I see a lot of talk about tube jigs for Lakers so I scored a few and they look cool. My question is about line twist. Should I use a swivel at the jig or a barrel swivel a few feet above the jig. Thanks in advance!

If using a large tube jig and its rigged right it should not spiral on the lift and fall and cause line twist..  I don't like any connections between my jig and reel...  Just my opinion..    ;)

Raquettedacker, they look great and hang horizontally. Should I just go without either, swivel or barrel?

Just a good polymer knot nice and snug so it stays horizontally....     ;)
