Thanks, we had a nice mixed bag. It was only my second time out so far and I was working from home while being sick all last week and I had yesterday off and couldn't take one more day being cooped up in the house. Glad to make it out for a few hours and as always, BIP hospitality was it's usual 5 star rating.

That's a really cool carving... I love stuff like that. I can just picture some 80 year old guy with a 75 year old buck knife sitting on his porch with a big lazy dog at his feet while he's carving away.

Day 20 & 21.....the fish have finally started to school with this last Waxing Gibbous period and are now putting on the chase! For those ,finding the fishing slow....a little advice: with the warmer temps and very late ice, the weeds are still green and have not quite yet withered, therefore fish are not in their typical locations

Day 26 on the ice: Bows 31/ Browns 2...........some nice fish piling up thus far. A few pictures including a nice hefty 5 pound 9 ounce largemouth. 50 plus Crappie slammed tonight........4-8pm.

The ice has held up nicely over here, drilled 5 new holes tonight, all measuring 7 inches of black ice. All previously opened holes were barely frozen over and with run-off, the ice at those holes measured 6". Tomorrow night will be a 6 man Crappie Slam.......pictures to follow

Lol......we have three but find them more useful on larger fish..take about 30 seconds per fish.😉
