This weekend it's on for me....Shallow private lake the bays are good to go, with the forecasted temps the main lake by next weekend maybe??

Made it out Sat afternoon on 3" of ice...fishing was not good 9"bass and 5 mediocre gills....fished until dark and was soaked by the rain.  Sun morning went back out and fished for a couple hours until I gave in to the wind, no fish....set up some tip ups and watched them from the house....no flags.  Was nice to get out for the first time this year but the weather was a mofo.  I assume most lakes will have walkable ice by this weekend so I'll be at it again!!

One of a couple private access spots, dependent upon the amount of ice cover. Enough ice means I will be able to fish a deeper body of water, less ice means a shallower option.

Heading out to Hardy pond (Big Bend) in the AM.  Buddy caught a few nice perch AND keeper Walleye!  Not too may guys out there yet.  Sure there will be tomorrow.  Tight lines, my friends!
