LX-9 Connection to a 22" TV
« on: Jan 05, 2016, 05:15 PM »
I put in a mounting board to mount up a 12 Volt 22" flat panel led T V in my little wheelhouse. I hooked it all up and it works, but on the TV I get a black line that goes from bottom to top continuously. It's not on the LX-9's screen, so I'm wondering if it can be fixed in the settings on the TV. It is a full HD TV and has a great picture. I don't know how good it will be to have to watch that line going up over and over! Anybody know anything about this?

Try putting a ferrite core filter in the feed line from the video to the camera. They snap on, and you can usually find them at Radio Shack..

just went thru this with the same situation.
using the same battery causes the issue. use two batteries. the sonar is injecting noise into the battery.
trying a choke might help, trying a quad shielded patch/rca cable may help using a single battery.
