I have a 4 wheeler registered in IND. with off road tags from IND. it is insured what would I need if I were to bring it out to use on the ice if and when the ice is safe for travel.  thanks griff.
fishing is hard can I go home now

You wont need to license/tags to operate atv on ice, as long as not using state park access areas and on streets or highways.  To use on roads they require license,mirror, horn, lights.  If unloading in offroad areas and accessing ice you should be fine.

Don't need anything special to drive on the ice in SD. Some lakes around watertown and north have good ice for walking although I have seen some atv tracks in the snow and one Fishing in the webster area. It was around 6" of ice on 12/22 but not consistent in all places so be careful.
