It couldn't get here soon enough. I've had the sled in the back of the truck since December and it's staying there until the ice comes back! C'mon ice gods!

its been below freezing and this light "salty" type snow has been falling in cattaraugus county since this morning

26 degrees here in Chaumont Bay at 5:44, winds have subsided, and it's dipping to 7 tonight no snow, no wind, no rain.....will be on the ice tomorrow....

I know its only a picture, but it's good for moral around WNY. Has given me time to look into some new techniques and tackle, so wasn't all bad, BUT man I'm I ready even a picture will get me going. I don't see what the big deal here is. All it says is below normal precipitation for February. The way things have been going, all that mean is less rain.

What the original pics showed was a prediction that the temps in february were going to be below normal, all the way down to around Maryland if I remember correctly, and far below normal right to about the NYS/Canadian border........

Looks like these pics are links to a 3rd party weather web site. That means that if the site changes their pics but keeps the same file name for the picture, you will see something different. That is why the pics don't make sense right now. When this was first posted it showed temp and precip in terms of below or above normal. Now it is showing something else. Hope this helps.

Sorry about the pics changing like that. Hey the second pic is what we want to see anyway, the one that is up now. Anyhow The original pics showed below normal temps for feb with normal precip for the entire Northeast.
