Here’s some pics my brother Keith sent me. Pics were taken in mid '60s on Muskrat Bay at  the first house, by what’s now the parking area. The limit was still 10 eyes back then. Oneida Shores Park  wasn’t there yet. The fish were all caught between Muskrat Bay and The islands. The first pic is Gramps, George Merrill.
He was the the guy!

The second is with Gramps, my dad, Larry Porada and my brother, Keith.

Looks like it was a good day!

The third is my Uncle John. He must have got lucky that day  ::)

Gramps, my dad and uncle are all gone now. Some good memories from back then.

Uncle John was always wicked upset when I out fished him as a little kid ;D. Once, he fished off the dock and shore there for over a couple hours before we arrived for the weekend. He caught nothing. As soon as we got there I fished the same places and caught a limit of LMB almost immediately. Wasn’t he pissed. Another time I out fished him in the boat. Later, after he went home, Gramps told me Uncle John threw his pole on the ground and stomped on it cursing me......I alway thought is was funny when he came over and tried to give me fishing tips, especially when a fish hit as he was telling me I was doing it wrong. POOR GUY..... ;) ;D

Nice to have photos of friends and family enjoying the lake, good memories!. I can remember putting in at Gus Therre's marina, and fishing around the islands. Back then , fish went on the stringer and almost always, when we either caught another fish or picked up and decided to head home, there was a lamprey eel or two attached to the stringer of fish. Times have changed.

The background in that pic is where Oneida Shore park is now.

Gramps was a tough old bird. Many stories around that guy; NOT all good.
Gotta say, I learned more from him than anyone else. Hunting, fishing, truth, and seeing Bullsvyz.
Gramps is more of me today than anyone else I know. Miss Ya!

OK, One more pic.  ;D My brother sent me another

Anyone know who these kids (now old farts) are? Any Diehards in there????

That’s me on the left. Group pic of the 1969 Brewerton Fishing Derby Winners.

Biggest Derby Fish! 28.5” walleye. Caught on a metallic perch pattern Lazy Ike.
Still  have the plaque. Don’t know what happened to the trophy.

We killed em that day too!
