im going to kip this weekend fishing for perch any suggestions

it was me and 4 friends kept 78 perch at kip how did you make out at barrier

not as good as you, we kept 15 perch and one jack .threw back about that many perch but to small. Where abouts were you fishin on kip and were the perch of decent size?

like you know im only 15 years old and i already love the sport imagine when im old enough to drive where i want
when i get outa school/anyway we had to search for the critters first 25-30 feet 2 feet of  the bottom they wernt hugging the bottom like i thought at first we caught to over ten inches umm oh yeah we were on the west side left of the place u enter the lake

just wondering if anybody has been up there lately?  I'll be going to kip or barrier, has anybody heard any news of either?

actually just got back from barrier about half hour ago and caught 13 nice perch ranging from 8-11 inches ,pulled up around 25 but the rest were a lil smaller.all this from fishing for only about 2 hours. Was also out yesterday and managed to bring home 17 nice perch . They are finally starting to bite again  if perch are what your looking for. good luck later

where abouts were you fishing? what type of bait were you using?

I was using teardrop hooks with half a meal worm(better for setting hook). As for where I was when you enter Barrier off the beach go straight west past  the lil group of huts  and about 50 to 100 yards away from them I was getting the action .note that I drilled about 5 holes and if you off by 20 feet it was completly dead so I moved around alot in the small area till I found some action and if it went dead I would go to the next hole and hammer them for a bit and so on. I took some time but I found it was worth it. later
