Got my first sled!!!

I've been doing my research the last few years. Finally found the one I wanted for cheap. 1996 skandic with the 380.

First things first: got rid of the stickers and recovered the seat......3 roles of camo duct tape









Next cleaned the carbs, replaced a couple bearings, new belt, plugs, all new tie rod ends, upgraded the torsion springs, new shock, fixed some wiring for the hand warmers. Then I started welding...









added some Led's and took it for a few test runs. Painted it black











Added 72lbs total front and rear, front flips up for engine access. Took out my buddy whose packing 220lbs, nasty slushy day and the sled did good. Named the sled 'Grand Masta Killa'.

I've been wanting to weld up a hood rack all winter for my 99 venture....nice job.

That is a great job! You turned that thing into an ice fishing machine! Mad max style, I want one.   That back rack is the bees knees.
