Question for ya? I have never seen this before!!!!!!

Well, I went out ice fishing last weekend. In the holes where my tip-ups were in, there were probably hundreds of little brown things no bigger than a dot but very visable just swimming around in the hole. I had 3 holes with them? No idea what the were! they were about the size of period, brown, and were kind of darting around. Anyone have any idea what they are? Thanks

not sure what those are, but I was fishing in a small lake about 150 surface acres. It was about in 8-10 fow. not sure what it was.

were they snow fleas? I think they are or can be black as well
