Vexilar fl 8 se

Decided to take the plunge and get a flasher.  Hopefully I'll have it by next weekend.  Any tips, warnings or other advice out there?  Hopefully I didn't just blow $300 just to catch a few extra perch.

good unit ive had mine a few yrs.. now and dont have anything bad to say about it...just read the manual  and watch the dvd if you get one with it

Have fun with it! I've had my fl-8se for years and it has never had an issue.... I do think I will need to replace the battery this year as it's about 8 years old. I won't jig without it!

I've had days with over 100 crappie caught using mine. You won't be disappointed.
