i went to the upper lake on my rounds today to check the ice.
there was no one out on the lake.
i saw where someone had gone out about 20 feet and drilled a couple holes
i went out another 20 feet and drilled a hole ice was 3 1/2 inches
went out 30 more feet and drilled ice was 3 3/4
out another 20 or so and got 4inches
that was near the handycap fishing area
i didnt go any further and wasnt going to chance it by myself
but the ice looked very good quality black ice
