GOING ON VACATION

I GREW UP IN ROME AND I AM HEADING UP THAT WAY FOR VACATION IN A MONTH OR SO.
I AM LOOKING FOR A COUPLE OF GOOD PLACES TO ICE FISH.
ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFULL.

WELL I KNOW OF ONIEDA LAKE, BUT LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE ELSE. REALLY WANT TO GET SOME BIG PIKE.

You took the word right out of my mouth.....DELTA

Have seen some pictures of some slobs taken out of there.  I've fished it once years ago and caught some smaller ones.  I think there is also a decent walleye population in there as well if I'm not mistaken.

I was stationed at Griffiss from 1980-1984. Somebody was always taking super sized pike out of that lake..Course it may be a different story with the pike now days but i know that lake has decent perch and walleyes
