It seems dead everywhere! ! Was at Glen Harbor on Last Mountain today and saw tons of walleye on the cam and flasher....they would just bump the hook and not commit to a bite! We found them in 35 FOW but they would just not take a hook today.

Hey brown 54 what are u using for ur walleyes?  I have been having the same issue all over the place lml, strap, anywhere I try.  they bump the hook n bugger off. Just a suggestion that seemed to start working for me since I use a camera. I drop the camera and have two holes close enough I can pick up both hooks on my screen.  I switched to a smaller jig head in one hole with what ever bait they like in my case a minnow. And in another hole a few feet away using a lure (spoon / darter) to attract em and as they came up I stop using my attractor hook and jig my lil jig one or twice to grab there attention and drop the jig head right on the bottom so all they can see is the minnow be we the small jig head and jig it ever so slightly and they seem to start sucking up the minnow right of the ground. Like I said I am having the same issue as u and for me any ways I started hitting some walleyes finally. Lol give er a shot.

Thanks for the info. Definitely something I'm going to try!  Normally use tee tots with half a minnow and the walleye normally gobble those up.  When they seem to be reluctant to hit something with a lot of action I have had luck with a bobber and simple j hook and half a minnow about 6 inches off the bottom....that way they can do their bumping / nibbling and not feel resistance because of using the small bobber and when they finally take it and the bobber goes down, set the hook.  But even that method (though better) has not been working too well lately.

Tee tots r what I was using his the smallest ones and letting sit right on bottom it was almost like they didn't notice the jig head and jus slurped up the minnow tails.

Should be safe, we pretty much drove across Echo the other day! Mission is usually the first lake to lock up!

During the summer at Mission I always have luck in that bay... Perch are in usually in the middle and the wallys are on the point furthest from the fort. Has anyone every tried ice fishing there? Any luck? hows the ice in that area because of the spring?

Spoons with lots of action work well for walleye for me, usally 25-35'. I never caught to many perch out of pasqua lately but the ones you do catch are nice size

Anyone else having a real slow day on the lake? Got a pike just laying on the bottom next to the hooks for the last two hours and nothing else.
