Jiffy auger blade
« on: Dec 21, 2005, 09:36 AM »
When I bought my auger I just had to get the biggest one so I got a 10" blade.  Well I have used it a few years and it seems to be a bit of overkill.  I can't really see myself pulling fish out of the ice with 10" of girth  ::)   and my round tip ups kindo teeter in the hole because they are 10" also.  So I am thinking of downgrading to an 8 or 9 incher.  Anyone know where I could maybe pick one up in SE SD without going online?  I saw one at Scheels in Sioux City last year and didn't buy it but I should have.  Just wondering.

Scheel's carries them every year, there's always an excuse to go to Cabelas- most bait and tackle shops will have augers, if they don't carry them I bet they can get you one!

Not enough ice or time... not necessarily in that order.
