Beautiful fish slabby. Must have been a nice fight on the jigging rod. I can't make out the tape measure, how long was she?

yes it does look like a suageye but they tend to be a little smaller possible though u never know!!

it has the spots that suageye have so im goin with suageye on this one anyone else?

Ya know, I think you're right! Ever hear of saugeye in your waters slabby? If it is, that's one of the biggest I've seen!

They are definately walleyes....no saugeyes here on Honeoye. If there were some, we would use them as bait for the walleyes LOL!!

Just so everybody knows that I'm not trying to be argumentative about this fish just that if it is a saugeye its an even better catch since they do tend to be smaller then walleyes yet larger than sauger.

It is definatly a walleye. Like BigJohnnyIce stated there are not any saugeyes in Honeoye lake. All of the walleyes from this lake look that way.
