i dont think its real, like the picture above it would not be hard to place something inside the fishes mouth and have it look real. the question is would a fish eat another fish tail first? i dont think it would. think about the fins trying to go down the throat and how difficult it would be for the pike to swallow it down. and if the fish was in an aquarium he wouldnt have to worrie too much about other pike trying to eat his food so he doesnt have to rush. but maybe it is real lol

I don't think its real either.  It doesn't seem possible that the fish would be sitting in the pike's mouth like that because of the depth of the fish's head relative to how deep its mouth are.

I's say that the pic is real. Its probably a juvenile pike (which would explain the dull coloring) and a very young (fry) trout. Young pike + soft trout fry = young stupid pike eats soft food backwards. If there's one thing that I've learned in my 23 1/2 years of fishing, its that anything can AND DOES happen. I've seen bass stuck together much like the pike that you guys are talking about. A 16" bass trying to eat a 12" bass, yeah, didn't work for either one of them. Didn't PETA say something about fish being "smart"?

Killitandgrillit your pretty close.  It was on East Bass Lake.  Man it's to bad they stopped planting them.  That lake is polluted with perch!  We caught and released some beautiful tigers.  Big Shag used to be my old stompin' grounds, great place!

The article says its a rainbow trout in a pikes mouth-  the "trout" looks likea  shiner.... the shiners mouth is TINY

The "pike" has NO teeth (maybe 2 visible) also not showing the pike pattern

I don't doubt it's legitimacy.  I don't see why anyone would.  Pike are voracious.  Most everyone here has seen what a hungry pike or muskie can do!

NOPE because if a pike is hungry he aint gonna let a little fish swim around in his mouth and pick his  teeth for him. He's gonna devour that little devil in seconds. However i do agree with the facts that pike will destroy game fish populations.
