You can get a gas pump to shut off at .8 gallon? Dang your good.
I was at the gas station the other day getting a gallon of non eth. premium for my chainsaws and the pump went to $1.25 before any gas even came out of the hose. I get my gas in a 5 gallon can then I have a one gallon glass wine jug I use that I marked off a exact gallon with a black marker pen. I use that to measure a gallon of gas before I put it into the  1-1/2 gallon mixing can. Plus with the glass one gallon jug I can see if any water or crap is in the gas. You wouldn't believe how much water there is in gas sometimes. I mean not a real lot but you are kidding yourself if you think you never get any water in your gas. I also use a "MR Funnel" to make sure no water goes in the mixing can.
Yea I am anal about it but I have over $2,000 worth of 2 cycle chainsaw's, leaf blower, weed trimmer, and auger,

Pretty easy when the money side adds up about 3x's fater than the gallons...

If you have a Tecumseh TC or TM engine read page 12. It says 24: to 1 for the TC / TM models.

I would agree for my Strikemaster. I had nothing but issues with the carb acting up and rough starting and running and alot of smoke since day one. I cleaned the whole carb and started running 80:1 Amsoil and have never looked back.
Smooth running, virtually smoke free and no fouling issues, etc.
This oil saved me from dropping my gas and switching. However, I am glad I did not because I really like the SM auger I own!
I am just a consumer not horse in the race, just very satisfied.

Amsoil Saber @ 100:1 for years in all my 2 cycle equipment from outboards to chainsaws. Minimal smoke if any, have yet to burn anything down from lack of lubricant in the fuel. I used to go by manufacturers recommended mix until I worked at a small engine shop back in the day.

Let me be presumptuous and thank you for the acknowledgement.     ;)2

But, only a small part of that 1st page, as a few auger owners will remain in the age of dinosaurs for years to come.     :woot: :roflmao:

JonPerry knows the truth, too.      ;)2

Been using Opti 11 or amsoil sabre pro in my Jiffy 30 for 13 years and my Nils for its 7th at 80-1 or 100-1 . Both run perfect and will never go back to dino mix . The thing many fail to recognize when they see the rich manufacturer suggested dino mixture is that Amsoil not only is a synthetic but is a concentrated form of mix .

I use this from walmart for mixing 2 stroke fuels.  it is a clear glass cup with bright red markers on it.
