5 inches of good ice right now. We just fished by the boat launch as we didnt want to chance going out by the islands.

yeah we had a awesome day! weather was perfect! we got 7 pickrel threw a few back and lost several.all on dead smelt.  john even  jigged up a sal.  which he threw back. what a great day! was great just to be on the ice again.

Good deal..... glad to hear you made it out. I can't wait to hit it myself, shortly after the first I hope. Soon as those unempolyment checks start rolling in I'll be roadtripping.
