Thanks for the reports on the bay ponds.  I know those front Golf course ponds are loaded with crappie, but they are all stunted.  I have caught some decent ones out of the big beach pond.  Is that the pond you guys are fishing?  How about the channel that connects the two?

I've always that that back pond by the big hill would be good.  Except it's weed choked.  Is it fishable through the ice?

Thanks again for the report.  May try to get out there Monday.

i think we are talking about the same pond there is 2 really good weed beds in it   the one im talking about is a large pond with like 3 fingers on it the middle one on the west end  has the weed bed but in the fall i get most of my action in the shallow one witch is closest to parking lot 6

F.O.D.- Nice job on the crappies.  There are some bigger ones in there, and some decent walleye too.

It's not connected to the lake water, but they pumped the lake water in when they filled it.  I've caught gobies out of there pan fishing.

The walleyes were stocked, and several are caught every summer by bass anglers.  They are usually caught between the bridges of the back marsh pond that connects to it.
