keep things going here Trevor...we need more AB boys and girls in on this...making up a batch of crying towels for the most western part of the anglers....also have to get the new skids onto the shanty...enlarge the 12 inch holes...(dont like squeezing the brutes too tight)....so if that is what everyone wants...so be it....not the most....just the biggest....Grump :P

Ok Grump I'll keep it going ;)

Well any German unfortunate enough to have given birth to an Albertan will have a REAL sore arse :woot:  You guys may not me aware of this but when we're born we have ice spuds and power augers for appendages   I hope you girls know what you're up against that's all I'm saying :flex:

Hey, you know what?  Saskatchewan is being awfully quiet ???  Not like those flatland stubblejumpers know anything about icing trophy fish
:woot: :woot: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:  >:D

Shhh....just no one say anything to Ontario or we'll all be hooped :-[

A British Columbian wanted to go ice fishing, so after getting all of the right tools,
he headed toward the nearest frozen lake.

After getting comfy on his stool she started to cut a circular hole in the ice.
Then from the heavens a voice boomed,

''THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.''

Startled, the British Columbian  moved further down the ice,
poured a thermos of hot chocolate and started to cut yet another
hole in the ice. The voice boomed,

''THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.''

This time quite scared, the British Columbian  moved to the far end of the ice.
Then he started another hole and once again the voice said,

''THERE ARE NO FISH UNDER THE ICE.''

The very scared British Columbian  raised her head and said, ''Is that you, Lord?''

The voice answered,

''NO. IT IS THE MANAGER OF THE ICE RINK.

Looks like I missed a bit when I was away. That reminds me Pigshanks of 3 Canadians were sitting around the campfire one night. A BCer, An Albertan and a Manitoban. The Manitoban starts bragging at how tough he is. He says "I was fishing BIG northerns once and my line broke as I was reeling a monster up the 12 inch ice hole, so I reach my hand down there and shove my hand right in its mouth, he clamps down and I pull him up. Yep ended up with 47 stitches. Never even flinched. I'm tough man, real tough".
The Albertan not wanting to be outdone says "Ahhh shucks thats not tough, why I was up in northern Alberta fighting grizzly bears with my bare hands. Killed him, yep I did." He then held his hands up to the firelight. I'm tough man.
The BCer didn't say a word. He just sat there poking the fire with the end of his mid section rod :woot:

Moral of the story: Manitobans like to start things but BCers end up with the last word even though they don't need to say anything.

All this tells me is that you BCers seem to hold on to the wrong rod all the time.

Which reminds me, A young BC teen was in the washroom one day reacquainting himself with his newfound friend when suddenly the door flew open and his father yelled,"Boy! If you don't quite doing that you'll go blind." Startled, the teen says,"Dad, I'm over here."

Wow You fellas are bickering over nothing, Let you pictures tell the story. I'm getting really excited about seeing some of the fish that all three Provinces will produce.
I think we should have a category for the best picture while we are fishing. It could be anything like action pics of the fish coming out of the hole, or a cool silhouette of you and your fish against the sunset. I would like to see your part of Canada.

Heh nice pic Whiskey. Hope you catch another of your big lakers this year for the tourney. I think the bar will be raised this year with all the members signing up. And raise it we shall ;)2.
So getting back to the topic of "Tourney points system"....I take it from some posts from BC boys that it should be the biggest fish that wins it and not the most trophy fish.
How would you Albertans like to see it? The biggest fish wins it? Or most trophy fish? If your lost just go back to the beginning of this thread and read all the posts ;)

Yes our posts will speak for themselves Whiskey.

Biggest fish, Most trophies. It matters not. You tell me what guys will react better to.
Losing to one very large Alberta beaut  :o , or losing to a rather numerous amount of trophies.  :%$#!:  Your call.

:-X :-X :-X :-X And why is it that we don't here much from those wannabe westerners from boyitobia. Already giving up before the first pics are posted.  :'(  :'(  :'(  :'(

Well I thinks if someone posted a 40 plus inch rainbow and another posts 6 trophy rainbows from 27 to 36 inches. Then I would be impressed with the biggest fish??? But thats just my opinion and I'm wondering what other members think?
