I just bouggt an ugly stik and all did was tip over the bucket that it was n and it snaped! Do you rhink Sheeles will take it bake with a receipt?

That title just sounds wrong if you read it more than once. Lol but on a serious side email or call them and they probably will replace it.

I'll bet if you have your receipt, they'll replace for you.They replaced a bait caster for me. It was less than 3 months old. They asked if I had my receipt and I gave it to them.Gave me a new reel and they even respooled it. One happy customer.

I broke mine also...I assume just from banging around in my pack basket. Brought it back to dicks and they replaced it with no receipt. I will be making a pvc case for this new one.

Most regular Ugly Stiks usually have a 7 year warranty...I remember working at Gander Mountain a few years ago, most customers thought they were guaranteed for life. Although, if you take care of them (or not) they will usually last much longer!

HA HA HA I was thinking the same thing. I have run an ugly stick over with my 2500 before and it did nothing to it, infact I am still using it to this very day!

I had a warranty claim on an Ugly Stick & after sending the rod in it was denied-I was informed that misuse/abuse is not covered under their replacement warranty. I still like Ugly Sticks but thought they'd stand behind them a little better-the rod was broken in a car door & I understand if they warrantied stupid there would be a lot of rods to replace. Your best bet is having the store you bought it from replace it.

i bought my wife a ugly stick when they first came out in the market as a summer fishing rod, they were listed as a life time guarentee. But they changed it after a few years to 7 year warranty.

Im guessing there is more to this story. Just falling over shouldnt break any rod.

Most likely the bucket went over and what ever was in and or around the bucket fell over on top of the rod, snapping it.

That in my opinion i negligence, not a defect. If thats the case, and you try to return it, shame on you.

I remember when i first got an ugly stik they were lifetime warranty but the ones i have bought over the last 8 years or so have all been 7 years. All the advertisements you seen in magazines said unbreakable if i remember right shutting them in a car door was one advertisement. I have only broke one and that was on a surf rod. It was my fault casting to much weight and even told them so, I had to pay shipping but they replaced it. I love there rods and have over 30 of them. There 5 weight fly rod works fantastic as an ultralight salmon steelhead rod

Im curious was the one you broke one of the new gx2 rods ?

Was this the new ice ones or the reg older ice ugly sticks. Cause I gave my ugly stick ice rod to my 1.5 yr old son to play with n lets just say it's. Been jammed, slammed, Jumped on, used to smack poor dog, thrown across the room, and beaten on. And it looks like the day I bought it. No lie...

There's warranties on all ugly sticks. I know the new ice rod and reel combo that they came out with has a 3 year warrantie I believe on it. It says how long the warrantie is on the papers that were attached to the rod when it was bought. I'd just email the company.

I know what you mean I bought a new Chevy 2500 and backed into a tree. GM wouldn't fix it, those jerks.
