Refuge lakes
« on: Dec 31, 2013, 08:08 AM »
Headed up this weekend with my brother, a buddy and stepbrother who has never been ice fishing. Been looking forward to this weekend for over a month now and hoping to get the rookie hooked. Was wondering if anybody knows which lakes have hot this year? Thanks in advance

They have been slow this year, but I would try hackberry or pelican.

There will be a group of us on Dewey Saturday. Stop in and say hi if you like. As posted, it's been a slow season for the most part. Might have a good hour of pan fish action then down to a few fish an hour. Haven't tried pike, but reports sound much the same. Hope the New Year brings better fishing.
