On the way to the lake yesterday morning ... I mentioned I really wanted to land a salmon ... Was kinda on the bucket list for oh ....about 38 years now ... My wife said "yeah I really just wanna do a one up on my biggest laker to date".....  First step to the ice proved to be a boot soaker ... But after readjusting our course we got into some pretty good fishing ... And even better company !!!  Ended up completing both tasks !!!

Thanks ... Yes Curtis we need to make it out somewhere this year !!! And I allready have my Combsey (life size cutout ) for the next trip ... It was great hearing your dads stories ... Especially the car in the drink one ... Very all around enjoyable day !!!

Unfortunately we have prior engagements this weekend .... We have a long overdue Rock concert to go to Saturday night ... Depending on how much wood i get cut tomorrow will determine if I go Friday . Looks like I may try sacandaga.... A friend is suppose to be out there some where ... And yes it was great meeting up again ... We fished Caroga today in a tee shirt ... Got a few but the action was slow ...
