After reading this entire thread, many times over again, I decided to design my own. Skis2x4 1/4" luan for bottom front, back and sides1/2" plywood for toppine for internal bracingAll coated with two (2) layers West Systems 105 on the outside for strength and varnish on the inside for a preservative.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
Looking for some help - somewhere I saw a pic of someone's sled. They'd made an auger holder out of two buckets - one with slots the auger would fit in that nested inside the other. The auger rode horizontally on the bottom bucket, locked into place by the slots in the top one.Any help with this?
this the one I just made. I have shown it on the other threads. It is a little bigger than the last one.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.) (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)weighs in at 33#
My Ultralight box, weighs 14lbs empty.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
Love the auger/spud rack! Has anyone seen something like that in the stores?
Id be interested to hear how the PVC hols up in the cold....
It looks like an adjustable back window gun rack?
