Tip-up flag lights
« on: Dec 22, 2013, 05:36 PM »
Have any of you ever had any luck with the clip-on lights for tip-up flags?  I've heard mixed reviews, and I'd like to know if any of you have brand recommendations.

I've got the frabill lights with the yellow body and red light and they work just fine for me. Had them for at least four years and only replaced the batteries once in that time.

I also use the yellow frabils and have had good luck with them.  Just wish they were half the price.

The round, yellow Frabils seem to hold up the best. The ones that are shaped like a cigarette lighter do not.

I only saw the $11 ones shaped like the lighter on frabill's website, onpoint.  You know where I could see/buy the round ones you are talking about?

I have 3 of the round ones and they work fine. I've also used the sirens and they work pretty good if you get them set up right.

I've been using strike sensor fish alert units for quite a while now with no complaints. They're easy to use, and reliable. The only thing I don't like about them is the price!
