picked up my first maki plastics today!

Saw them at dicks and couldnt resist the urge to buy them! Got the jamei anr polli in glow pink and motor oil. How do these colors work for you guys?

I carry every color I can find, never know when that day will be when they only want 1 certain color or style... Pink is always a good choice as is motoroil...

On ice, I almost always start with a red, regular sized Maki. Open water perching, it's a white Maki. I agree with Esox that you need a good selection of colors. Some days, the fish will change preference every 30 minutes.

Ill probably end up picking up some more after christmas. I like the action they have even out of the water. And the pink glow is awesome. I also picked up a few heavy metal custom jigs an spins jigs, in nickel plated. Those with the pink should be a killer!

Motor oil polli was the hot ticket today! Bunch of hand sized gills!
