Lake Lowell
« on: Dec 14, 2013, 01:55 PM »
I saw about 10 folks fishing. Looks like you have to push the 200 yard limit to get close to the depth you need to find fish.

Did anyone do any good out there? How deep were you able to fish? Inquiring minds want to know. Thx.

Spent about 4hrs out at the nampa dam. Moved around a few times. It was pretty slow. 2 adults 1 kid. 2 small cats & 1 little perch. Nice day to get out.

Which side is the most productive in your opinion? West side or East side? Much appreciated.

Fished both dams today. Caught 10 dinks on the Caldwell side in 4 hrs of fishing. Caught 10 dinks and 5 keepers on the Nampa side in a lil over 2 hrs this evening. All were caught on a small jiggin rap. Even caught an 8" gil. Water was a lot cleaner on the Nampa side.

I fished the Nampa side this weekend for about 5 hours.  Mainly dinks with a few keepers, nothing with any size.  It is nothing like last year!

I was on the Nampa side west ramp, I was just out from the pillar at 18-5 to 19 feet. Lot's of Googans out but not to many ice fishers.

Fished yesterday 300 yards east of the pillar at the west ramp on the Nampa side. Ice was still a strong 8 inches.  Started a bit slow in the mid morning but came on around 2pm.  35+ perch with 10 keepers over 10inch, 2 large mouth, and one Gill.  No size to the bass but the gill was nice. found fish in 25 ft of water. Bite was a bit finicky though, had to wait on the good takes.  3 other ice fisherman at west ramp. Enjoy!

Upper Dam east side Saturday. Lots of dinks to keep busy. Highlight was a bass, blue gill, and a pleasant day.

Fished Lake Lowell for a couple hours this afternoon. Found a decent number of crappies and bluegills. Nothing huge but would have made a good meal. I was just out for fun so they got lucky today. Next trip, maybe not...  ;)
