Looking forward to it, looks promising so far for an early start.

I’m in the process of getting my boat put away and the ice fishing gear out.  I will be firing up my auger.  However, it’s a propane auger so if I have problems I will be using the hand auger until I can find someone to fix it.

Life is good at the moment. My understanding, loving, caring wife let me get a few things things for ice fishing this year. I started out getting a used flipover. This thing rocks. Next she let me get one of those coleman compact single mantle lanterns for heat and light and lastly she even went with me to gander mountian with me yesterday to pick out a few odds and ends. I only spent $60 bucks. You may ask how the heck i pulled this off. Well let me tell you after over 20 years of marriage i have learned that when the wife asks you to do something you might not like doing just do it anyway because like my wife they will store it in their memory bank. Also all the things I got was counted as my Christmas gift while the dinning room table and new chandelier light she wanted so badly were not counted toward her Christmas gift. Pretty smart hey  ;D ;D ;D

Passed a 40 acres or so lake this afternoon, looked to be about 98% capped. The lake is in Centre County.

Did see some farm ponds locked up today in centre county today.  Taking the kids to Orlando to see grandma, aunt and Mickey  mouse.  Can't  wait to get on the ice.  Gonna vet a new flashes...either a showdown or Marcum 5.  Friend told me that black mo was pretty mych locked up, not safe yet, but its coming.  Hoping before X-mas  ;D
