Start of ice
« on: Nov 21, 2013, 12:41 PM »
I'm up in Sullivan county for bear season and notice most ponds near Lopez have a thin layer of ice on them. It's a start! Temps look great for the next week too!

Good to see. First lake I usually hit, Black Moshannon, is supposed to get down to 16 on Sunday night.

I live up in Northeast PA.   I mostly ice fish the lakes in Wayne County.  Last week I made the last trip of the season with my boat.  We went to Merli-Sarnoski park.  There was some ice on the boat launch.  We had to break through the ice with the trailer to launch the boat.  I would not be surprised if most of the shoreline is frozen.
