Any Ice around the Huron

I was wondering if there will be any ice on the lakes around Thanksgiving time around Huron area. Also was wondering what lakes nearby would be good for a morning or afternoon outing?

I doubt it , I was still duck hunting open sloughs last Saturday , with it finally cooling down today that is just a week to make ice till thanksgiving any ice might be sketchy  , Byron just north from what I've heard has been a dead sea this year and I have heard nothing about Cavour to the east , possibility's on Cavour would be the culverts out to the main lake on the north side

Thanks....but now I am coming up the weekend after now so maybe by then. My Dad went out Sunday and said he had 5 in. in most places still have to watch your step. Hoping the ice holds threw the week.

it should hold looking at the forecast , Dec. 7th is the day I've pick for the 1st time out just need to pick a lake

Dang I will probable miss you by a day, we are suppose to do the family thing that day so i think i will be out the 6th hope you guys have ice. Today made what ice we had pretty soft.
