Homemade Tip-ups
« on: Nov 20, 2005, 07:44 AM »
Hey all

Looking for a couple of designs to build a long lasting tip-up/s. Preferably wood. I have seen a couple with some sort of homemade alarm that signals a fish strike.Looks neat. Any info is appreciated :)

I did not make the tip up, I made it work for me when I fish at night.
It has a pizzio tweeter that is quite loud as well as a flashing light that is quite bright. I used a home security alarm switch to activate the bells and whistles when the flag goes up. It is powered by a 9Volt battery.

If I agreed with you we would both be wrong!

That's quite a rig Gamalot.  I love gadgets!  Do you get CNN on that thing?   ;)
Are you SURE it's safe to walk on? Looks questionable to me!
