Oh more insults.... Here's my guess from reading thru your posts..... You would leave after a limit because it took you all day, if you ever have ;) And you are welcome to fish with me any time to get a lesson  ;)2

I don't care that guys do it but seems like a waste of time to me.  There are so many giant perch in the lake, that is what I would be after.  Of coarse any walleye I catch are by accident. Those perch are so tasty, but I digress.

I like the idea of chasing perch after I get my limit of eyes but have only succeeded in finding them twice so far. And I've damn near had a heart attack dragging my shanty around and drilling holes all day looking. So if I'm getting a mixed bag of perch and walleye in the same spot I'm probably not moving even if it means throwing some eyes back.

KP, myself and the guys I went out with last Saturday had the same thing happen off Chapman. I have been fishing this same spot for 4 weeks now with the occasional move one way or the other but not far at all. Well to say the same thing happened was basically an understatement, this guy came flying up between us on his wheeler and starting ranting how we are on his spot and we need to move. We said yah right closed our shanties and kept fishing. It was actually funny to listen to him go.off while we all badgered him inside our warm cozy huts.

Pretty Banner day for me- First 2 holes drilled at 715 or so and by 800 I was all set for eyes- ended up with 13, 10 keepers 3 shorts, even had a double at one point with a rap and genz bug!  :o...And not a sole around for 1/2 mile or so  ;D Picked away for another hour or so then decided to make a big jump looking for perch- fished till about 230 or so, some on tip ups the others jigging a genz bug and buckeye head- the little ones I kept needed surgery, but they'll all eat! Had to pick through a ton of dinks, but finallay figured out how to get the biguns to bit- A few pics from today, glad I got to make it out , tomorrow will be a zoo for sure  @)

nice, we're having fun now......fished with a couple buds today....practicing retirement......which, by the way,is in 4 weeks ;D......started off with some problems unfortunately......bud dies sled overheated and we had to leave it half way out to the shoals from the south shore.....my sled was heatin up pretty good also so had to really take our time......didn't mark any where near the fish I have been marking lately but hung in the same spot for the day and grinded out 4 keeper eyes and 13 perch.....4 smallies also......ice was at least 15" where we were......lost a couple eyes too......hard packed snow made it hard to kick enough snow up into the tunnel to cool the sleds so pay attention to your temp gauges guys.....wheeler is coming back out tomorrow....all in all a great day with lots of laughs

I think its actually funny when these guys come up and actually GPS the spot right in front of you as well. I usually go with 4-5 guys and gals so its fun for everyone. These people see these huts all close together and think WOW that has to be the sweet spot so let me mark it. Its the same reason I gave up fishing BASS tournaments let only a guy almost killed me and my non boater cause he had to find all my spots and almost collided with us at a tournament which I actually won regardless.

Finally got back on Oneida for last 2 days with my buddy Brian, tons of action, made lots of moves and only had a few loosers in 2 days, yesterdays highlight was the 37 jumbo perch blitz brian had with jigging raps in 1.5 hrs, I thought I was doing good with 15 til he came over, later on I had a major run putting 21 keeper eyes on the ice in just over 1 hr, few smallies and bourbies in the mix as well...today we had many small blitzs putting 40 plus keeper eyes on the ice and a half pail of perch, not sure how many we got into total in 2 days, but it was a great 2 days, took a few shots today. ... great weather and good times man, good times!!!!

after yesterdays great fishin, just relaxed today and made a few vids, heres one quick one....  back too a broken furnace.

Great job on the eyes and yellows guys.  That's what I was hoping to do but couldn't buy a perch these last 2 days.

Had a great day today set up in the morning and never moved. Caught a ton of shorts 7 keepers and 27 perch. Lost a ton as they didn't bite hard they grabbed it and came up with it had to set the hook hen you saw slack in the line.

Sorry for the blood.
