The great north has been colder than normal all yr,25 degrees here in hamden this morning,I have had the wood stove fired up a few times already, the earliest ever.    let me know if you get the mailing from the walleye challenge Thanks

Anyone know what your water temps are in your area? I will check my lake later this week. I know we are obviously atleast a month or even two off. I'm hoping to be out in mid-Dec.

Not sure, I would have to guess in the low 50's...

when i went out to the quinnipiac 2 weekends ago it was only 49.
The BIG one is just one flag away!

Species caught : largemouth, smallmouth,  bluegill, perch, White perch, crappie, trout, catfish, bowfin, pickerel, pike

early ice around here just does not happen,your going to have to go upstate ny for your early ice, Temps dropping today but will be 60 by the weekend,Its time to get some Bambi burgers anyway. Or reserve your spot on the wilcraft?

Had 29 degrees on the phone this afternoon for Winchester. Had a customer come down from Prospect. His car had a bit of snow on it. Half tempted to mix up some gas and fire up the old auger.
