Got down to 50 at my house last night...in July!?? Starting to think more about ice already and I'm also working to the ice series schedule for the NEPL tournaments.

Checked in for the first time since last spring. It appears that the average daily temperatures are already starting to fall some (wishful thinking). Feels more like mid-to-late August. Might we have a good long ,cold winter? Lou

I sure hope and pray we have a good long season coming. If it was like 2010 that would be great. That year we started fishing the second week of December, ended in the second week of April, and had 24 inches at the height of the season.

Just started checking in.Last season wasent 2 bad.I got out 18 or 19 TIMES .You were with me over half of the times CHRISS.We fished right up to Holy Saturday on the ice at BELMONT then the following weekend we nailed the perch open water in the GOULDSBORO area.I hope we can get out in December this year.That would be nice.Nothing like the early perch bite.

Hey Chez, about time you're checkin in. LOL Yeah last year was a decent year and LOTS of fun fishing with you and your sons. I hope this year is even better than last year, the longer the better. I like the early perch bite but then again I just love ice fishing and can't ever get enough.

Me and my blue rod and a certain orange and green jig caught A LOT more fish than you and your black rod the one day. It looked a lot like this

. O ya that trip you had by yourself up the park you did good too.I did see the pictures.I think BIRDMAN outfishes all of us all the time LOL.It don,t matter how many we catch its the fun doing it.I always tell you that.

I spend time back and forth from MMF and here, I try to check out lake reports there to give me an idea how the fish quality is and what lakes we may want to fish on ice. Check them out..there's a couple that may peak your interest or make your jaw drop and mouth water..lol
