vexilar fl-8 issue transducer

[DANMAN]

bought a used sitex fl-8......,with the bronze hull transducer
doent seem to show bottom when i have it hooked up for ice fishing

i can hear it tick...but no bottom indication..just a zero red line

i check wires on the transducer cable.,,...solder joints all good and femsle sockets all shiny


anythingdifferent broze transducer vs regukar transducer?


any tips thanks danman
